*Note: although the MSB and NEON-enabled science funding has been discontinued, proposals in this area should be directed to whatever solicitation makes the most sense. This includes the core programs in Division of Environmental Biology (DEB). However, opportunities outside of DEB core programs or outside of DEB all together may also be a good fit. Consider sending an email to the cognizant NSF program officer to gauge fit prior to submission. Investigators are encouraged to keep using the term 鈥渕acrosystems biology鈥� or to say the work is 鈥渆nabled by NEON鈥� as it helps the NSF track usage and community interest.
